In a simple program held at the Administrative Building of BHEL, Bhopal, Sushil Kumar Baveja, Executive Director was given a heartfelt farewell on his transfer to Corporate Office New Delhi. On this occasion, the newly appointed Executive Director of Bhopal unit, Vinay Nigam, took charge from Sushil Kumar Baveja in the presence of General Manager (HR) Adikanda Behera and all the General Managers.

Vinay Nigam did his graduation in the year 1986, BE (Electrical Engg.) and in the year 2006 he did his Post Graduation (M Tech) from Bhopal. Nigam started his career as Engineer Trainee in BHEL, Bhopal in the year 1987. Thereafter he was promoted as General Manager in the year 2020. In the same year, he was transferred to Jagdishpur Unit as General Manager and Head.

Shri Nigam was transferred back to Bhopal unit as General Manager (Operations) in the year 2021. After that he was transferred to Jhansi unit.

Shri Nigam has served most of his time in Bhopal unit which includes various departments viz: Works Eng. Electricals Maintenance (Factory & Township), GPX, IMM, LEM & Transformer, Capacitor and Bushing.
